Job Description

As a Product Manager, you will primarily be responsible for expanding adoption of assigned product(s) in the Government / Public Sector as well as Commercial Enterprise and Mid-Market Sector. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams including Enterprise Account Managers, Marketing team, Vendors, Engineering Support and Partners (where applicable) to ensure product adoption and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager will be tasked to develop and maintain a consistent and healthy pipeline; driving deal closures and company sales growth.

The Product Manager is also responsible for both product planning and marketing. This includes managing the assigned product(s) throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering customer’s requirements and working closely with the assigned product vendor to deliver wins. The Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals. This role will be based in Singapore – serving Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam markets. You may be required to travel from time to time, when required.

Qualification and Experience

  • Min. Diploma / Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent preferred
  • Min. 5 years of Product Management / Product Marketing Management / Business
  • Development experience with proven sales track records
  • Experience in dealing with customers at all levels, including C-levels
  • Basic technical knowledge and understanding of Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) offerings is required
  • Basic knowledge of Data Center Technology like Hyper-Converged Infrastructure,
  • Enterprise Storage, DR and Backup solutions is a plus

Mandatory Job Requirements

  • Possess domain knowledge in the CSP space: AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills with strong presentation abilities
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Salesforce.com and/or other CRM, web presentation tools
  • Comfortable with making cold calls to prospects
  • Able to work in a team environment and independently
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve goals, with willingness to learn and develop new skills is essential
  • Possess strong sense of ownership; able to act as a leader and drive growth
  • Possess strong understanding of Enterprise IT industry ecosystem
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are essential
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-pace and competitive environment

Responsibilities

  • Maintain warm relationships with assigned product vendors and partners
  • Proper qualification of leads and provide accurate report on opportunities
  • Able to upsell and cross-sell assigned products and value proposition to both new and existing customers
  • Demonstrate understanding of market segmentations, creating and structuring MRDs and execute successful Go-To-Market strategies for assigned product(s)
  • Collaborate between different functional teams and serve as the point of contact for customers and vendors.
  • Be on top with respect to the competition and continuously demonstrate excellent domain knowledge
  • Perform demos to customers. Brief and provide product training as and when required
  • Work with sales for price setting, to meet revenue and profitability goals
  • Develop sales tools and collateral
  • Maintain good customer and partner relationships at all times
  • Meet and exceed quarterly sales goals by managing individual sales activity
  • Accurately track and generate timely sales report for presentation to management
